TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
